Tips to help you repair leather

TIPS TO HELP YOU REPAIR LEATHER

When you need to do leather repairs, there are a few basic products you should ALWAYS have on hand.

The first and absolute must, is the Trade Secret Leather Care System. Any and all repairs you do should always start with the Soft Cleaner for Leather and should always finish with the Leather Protection Cream. Failing to do so could result in poor repairs that are not durable. As well it is a good idea to use the Soft Cleaner for Leather to neutralize cleaning agents (i.e. Ink Away).

The second product you should always have is the Trade Secret Leather Glue. This water based formula is better (and better for you) than the solvent based formulas already on the market... and you will be surprised how many leather repairs need only a little glue. The third product that you should always have on hand (and we are assuming that you have already or will purchase the Trade Secret Leather Touch-Up Markers) is the Trade Secret Leather Filler. This product is a must have when you need to fill a cut, repair a deep crack or do major restoration work.
